1ST CENTRAL COAST TANG SOO DO
Meet The Team
Master
George Work

I started as the test dummy for my brother that was taking Jujitsu from Sensei Sieki.
From there I was hooked and started taking Tae Kwan Do and Goju Ryu in 1982. Working my up to Orange belt before the school dissolved.
Then started studying Bushido Tae with Robert McCauley working through the ranks to green belt and learning some aspects of Jeet Kune Do before the instructor moved on.
Looking for another group and not finding the right mix or feel, I started taking Tae Chi Chuan and Gi Gong.
After a few years of Tai Chi I popped my head into a class that was in the same building. I found Grand Master Ted Jackson who was associated with World Tang Soo Do, that was in 1988. Continued with Tang Soo Do until taking a break when I started a job with the Post Office working nights.
After starting a family and getting daytime job, the kids and I started taking Tae Kwon Do from a friend. When that studio closed the kids and I went back to Master Jackson and continued the journey in Tang Soo Do. Today I am proud to continue the legacy Grand Master Ted Jackson in the Tang Soo Do Alliance with Grand Master Khalid leading us in the way of Tang Soo.
